I figure that men aren't easily shocked, but after chatting with Wildfire I realize SL attracts some bold (read: crass) women as well as men. I knew from the moment I met him he is a gentleman. I love that quality in a guy; I must be getting old. He mentioned some SL women shocked him. I found this to be funny, but I guess if you hangout in SL or RL with rude people you become used to it and act that way as well. Not that I think women have a corner on the virtue market...I appreciate people who, like me, come to SL to relax and enjoy, not to release their mayhem on others. Some days I feel like I have had enough of the drama (like being chased by a knife-wielding guy screaming "I'll kill you") and I look for Wild and Di or MissMia.
On this day, Wild asked me if I like Pink Floyd and when I said yes, he teleported me to this place where they play only Pink Floyd music. I couldn't have imagined such a place, where my RL brother would feel right at home. Wild reminds me of him a bit, except my brother would NEVER do ballroom dancing even in a virtual world with Pink Floyd playing.
