So the Spanish lessons begin...The first story is about a girl who is studying for her Spanish test tomorrow. Her brother turns on the TV and it's her favorite program-El amor y la pasión. What I want to know is why she is allowed to watch such a program and watch it instead of doing her studying. It gives me the impression that parents all over the world are as soft on TV as Americans are.
That's in the book, but I also have CDs with it. I have been listening to the first CD in the car. In the second story, there is a woman who keeps saying, "Eso es tonto, Paco." Now, in my mind, I keep hearing, "Eso es tonto...Eso es tonto." It seems very silly (LOL). I can hardly wait to hear to the next story!
Then, I opened Qz's 500 verb book and almost fainted. It's a bit overwhelming...all those verbs, all those tenses. I think I better not look in there for awhile.
Surprisingly, I feel like Spanish makes sense. I don't know if that's because it does or because I had taken it before. But, no matter. It must be infinitely easier than English.
