The Joy of ...

meeting someone new
...learning something new
...and going someplace new
On Monday, as I lounged on HPI, Marker Dinova asked if anyone would like to ride in his balloon. Hoping for a bit of adventure, I said, "Sure." And I was treated to the type of tour for which I am usually the guide, not the tourist.

After hovering over HPI for awhile, he asked me if I wanted to see King Tut Virtual. He wanted to make a quick stop at Error (http://slurl.com/secondlife/Error/122/115/30/), just to show me. There he taught me how to use mouselook to fly more smoothly. I need a bit of practice on that, but I notice it's a great way of getting good pics much faster. Marker allowed me time to look around and take some pics before we moved on to King Tut (http://slurl.com/secondlife/Kings%20Rezzable/195/96/258/). He showed me how to TP around the exhibits and we wandered around for awhile until Amakusa wanted to join us. As it was getting late, we went our separate ways. What a treat...going someplace new with a new friend and learning some exciting new camera tricks!
