Club Rock has a new manager

My SL resume certainly grows. Erik Goff has now given me the title "Club Rock Manager." And now I get to attempt to rescue a dying club. It's not enough for me that, as AFK magazine editor, I can barely persuade a handful of writers to write an article once in awhile. It wouldn't be my life if anything came easily.

I am reprogramming my host HUD. Instead of saying "Welcome to idioteque" it will now say "Welcome to Club Rock" and I'll have to delete comments about sculpture and try to think of something else witty to say. Now, I'll have to learn about the stream, something I haven't been allowed access to before, and persuade performers to work for tips only.

It's not too many jobs, right? AFK editor, Club Rock manager, Press Pass writer...oh did I forget to mention I'm writing a novel? I also do freelancing in RL; currently, I'm making worksheets for elementary school students. I actually receive USD for that!

After a long day of battling control freaks and passive-aggressives at my RL job, I dream of coming home to a candlelight dinner with Amakusa and moonlight dancing. But, instead, I'll be sending notices, juggling performers and greeting strangers. Perhaps, I'll gain some fodder for one of my many blogs.
