Se7en Visits New World Grid

I was curious on Sunday after Axalto mentioned New World Grid and opensim. I downloaded a bunch of software from the NWG website and I found Hippo OpenSim, with which I can visit SL and NWG and some places I never heard of. I haven't quite figured out how this is possible; I guess I need to do some research.

It was a typical day for me. I made three friends. I showed a guy how to open boxes and get dressed. I went to a freebie shop and got some plaid: ) It was very much like SL. The viewer was very like my viewer -- I don't have the beta one yet.

There is a strong presence of former There.com folks and NWG appears to be welcoming to them. Because there are so few people around, the people I met were very friendly. Very eager to share their knowledge, they tried to teach me how to change to daylight, how to make a landmark and such, but I already knew from SL.
