Ahh...the life of a journalist...Writing has been slow this week, partly because of RL happenings such as friends needing assistance with computer viruses, camera connection and such. My main story this week has fizzled because I couldn't get an interview. I waited for an hour for someone to show up, but it didn't happen. That would have been a good story, but I suppose this happens all the time in the journalism world. And I haven't gotten started with another idea. I do have an article in progress I'll probably finish tonight. I'm sick of looking at it. I'll have to reach into my random idea box and pull out something new this weekend.

My lessons in Castilian are going well, but I have to drill every word and concept into my brain. My main complaint is the lack of usefulness of the lessons in my book/CD. I did find a very good website that starts from "encantada(o)" (pleased to meet you). I think I need some cheat notes to hang in my car and office and perhaps the lid of my laptop - one of my favorite places to put notes.

As usual, I have so many "things" to attend to this weekend. It boggles my mind...I better start working on the to-do list.
