The Search Goes On

I am so disheartened. Two of my recent jobs have fallen through. The economy blog I was most excited about didn't get started because the publisher/editor doesn't have time now. That's why the MetaCard article is on 2nd Journal. Then, another job I was excited about seems to be going the same way. So, I expect to be posting another article to 2nd Journal that is business-related.

Last night, I submitted an article with pics to another new magazine. We'll see where that goes. I have broken my rule about not writing for free. This is probably another big mistake.

As well, my RL search for writing assignments is stalling. The main problem in all these instances is editors seeming to fall off the face of the earth. I email, IM and send notecards all to no avail. All I am looking for is someone to give me a bit of direction and send me on my way. I don't need someone to hold my hand and lead me. I just need someone to point me in the right direction and I take off running. I have proven this over and over. I find my own topics, research and interview, take my own pics and write the article. I even have excellent English skills. What more could an editor want?

I have applied for a new position at a well established SL magazine, hoping to make a couple Lindens and entertain myself with writing. I'll give it a few days and if nothing happens, I'll apply elsewhere. It's becoming commonplace for me to continually be in search of a job.

I have no will whatsoever today.

PS-I did find one of my editors reappeared from the abyss this morning xD
