A sad day in SL...and RL

Yesterday was a personal low for me in SL. If you have read my blog before, you know typically I don't "name names." If I love you, I love you even if you have wrongly accused me. As well, I don't feel it's proper to bash you publicly. I feel hyper-sensitive about protecting your reputation and not hurting you.

I have been abused by many people since I have come to SL, but you have seen how little I have written about it. I could easily bash people every day for their treatment of me and print their names. I have chosen not to dwell on the negative experiences. Instead, I like to share my joyful and playful times. For me, SL is supposed to be a fun and interesting diversion. It has been a place to be myself without worrying what people would think about me. I had no idea I could get into so much trouble by just being myself...and trying to help other people be happy.

My personal sadness is overshadowed by an event that has attracted national attention. You may have heard about the rampage in Binghamton, NY, yesterday. That is about ten miles from my home. Our city is in mourning today...
