Lesson of the Day: You haven't heard it all

So I've been exploring around and meeting lots of people, as you've noticed. My friends list is bulging. I have heard many interesting and some quite unbelievable stories. On this day, I realized I can't smugly sit on my lounge chair and feel now I have heard it all. Thank you, Cupidon Steerpike : ) for waking me up. I have been feeling very comfortable in my little niche and with my reputation as one of the most curious people in SL.

I have many writers thrown into my path lately or maybe I have thrown myself into their paths. Cupidon is one I saw from across a crowded room. At first I wondered if he was a vampire; that sparked my interest. But no, he wasn't. I checked his profile: SCRIBE - a writer? I began to get excited - must meet him! I did meet him but my problem was

I was too excited at meeting a fellow writer to register anything he said.

Fortunately, he has been very patient with me, as Sebastian was when I couldn't understand why anyone would want to get married in SL. It took a few days to sync our time, as I've been traveling and Cupidon's been...doing was he does. And our conversation was certainly juicy and...enlightening...and maybe has prepared me for more surprising, er, shocking revelations.
